Staff Artist Program
The selected works of art shown here were created by former Staff Artist Master Sergeant Henrietta Snowden, who completed her assignment at the U.S. Army Center of Military History in November 2002.
MSG. Snowden came to the Center of Military History from the NCO Academy, Fort George G. Meade, Maryland. She was previously stationed at Allied Forces Northwestern Europe, NATO, in England. While living in England, Msg. Snowden was deployed to Bosnia-Herzegovina in support of Joint Endeavor. In March 2000 Msg. Snowden deployed to Kosovo where she photographed and sketched day-to-day Army events. The paintings she created from many of her photographs and sketches are part of the "Kosovo Collection" and are online in a separate gallery. Msg. Snowden has a B.A. from California State University at Long Beach, California. The following artworks are representative of her work.
