- Reorganized and redesignated 16 October 1987 as Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 11th Aviation Brigade

- Inactivated 15 August 2005 in Germany
- Redesignated 16 September 2007 as Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 11th Aviation Command; concurrently withdrawn from the Regular Army, allotted to the Army Reserve, and activated at Fort Knox, Kentucky
