- Reorganized and redesignated 23 May 1944 as the 77th Army Ground Forces Band
- Inactivated 29 November 1946 on Saipan
- Redesignated 15 April 1947 as the 77th Army Band
- Activated 1 May 1947 in the Philippines as the 77th Army Band (Philippine Scouts)
- Inactivated 1 June 1949 in the Philippines
- Activated 1 November 1951 at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, as the 77th Army Band
- Inactivated 8 May 1953 at Fort Huachuca, Arizona
- Activated 24 February 1955 at Fort Sill, Oklahoma
