Redesignated 17 May 1947 as the 338th Army Band

Allotted 15 May 1952 to the Organized Reserve Corps

Activated 1 June 1952 at Columbus, Ohio

(Organized Reserve Corps redesignated 9 July 1952 as the Army Reserve)

Location changed 5 August 1996 to Whitehall, Ohio
