Activated 16 July 1947 at Charleston, South Carolina

(Organized Reserves redesignated 25 March 1948 as the Organized Reserve Corps; redesignated 9 July 1952 as the Army Reserve)

Inactivated 1 August 1950 at Charleston, South Carolina

Redesignated 31 March 1955 as the 329th Chemical Company and activated at Jackson, Mississippi

Location changed 20 July 1955 to Natchez, Mississippi

Ordered into active military service 1 October 1961 at Natchez, Mississippi; released from active military service 4 August 1962 and reverted to reserve status

Location changed 1 July 1964 to Chattahoochee, Florida
