Reorganized and redesignated 16 September 1992 as Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 445th Civil Affairs Battalion (organic elements concurrently constituted and activated)

Location changed 1 April 1995 to Mountain View, California

Ordered into active military service 18 April 2005 at Mountain View, California; released from active military service

30 June 2006 and reverted to reserve status

Ordered into active military service 28 August 2008 at Mountain View, California
