Activated 1 March 1945 in France

Consolidated 15 December 1947 with the 82d Replacement Company (see ANNEX) and consolidated unit designated as the 82d Replacement Company, an element of the 82d Airborne Division

(Organized Reserves redesignated 25 March 1948 as the Organized Reserve Corps)

Withdrawn 15 November 1948 from the Organized Reserve Corps and allotted to the Regular Army

Reorganized and redesignated 21 June 1975 as the 82d Adjutant General Company

Inactivated 30 September 1987 at Fort Bragg, North Carolina

Redesignated 16 June 2006 as Special Troops Battalion, 82d Airborne Division, and activated at Fort Bragg, North Carolina

Redesignated 17 November 1943 as the 290th Replacement Company
