  • Constituted 12 November 1942 in the Army of the United States as Company A, 127th Airborne Engineer Battalion
  • Activated 25 February 1943 at Camp Mackall, North Carolina, as an element of the 11th Airborne Division
  • Allotted 15 November 1948 to the Regular Army
  • Redesignated 26 February 1951 as Engineer Company, 187th Airborne Regimental Combat Team, and relieved from assignment to the 11th Airborne Division
  • Redesignated 2 June 1954 as the 22d Airborne Engineer Company, and remained an element of the 187th Airborne Regimental Combat Team
  • Inactivated 13 July 1956 at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and relieved from assignment to the 187th Airborne Regimental Combat Team
  • Redesignated 2 March 1967 as the 22d Engineer Company
  • Activated 25 April 1967 at Fort Lewis, Washington
  • Inactivated 19 June 1972 at Fort Lewis, Washington
  • Activated 16 October 2009 at Fort Lewis, Washington
