Inactivated 8 January 1946 at Camp Patrick Henry, Virginia

Redesignated 15 November 1946 as the 73d Engineer Light Equipment Company

Activated 10 December 1946 in Japan

Inactivated 1 June 1949 in Japan

Redesignated 18 August 1949 as the 73d Engineer Heavy Equipment Company

Activated 19 September 1949 at Fort Belvoir, Virginia

Reorganized and redesignated 28 September 1953 as the 73d Engineer Company

Inactivated 16 January 1972 in Vietnam

Activated 1 April 1984 at Fort Lewis, Washington

Inactivated 15 March 1994 at Fort Lewis, Washington

Assigned 16 June 2002 to the 25th Infantry Division and activated at Fort Lewis, Washington

Inactivated 1 June 2006 at Fort Lewis, Washington, and relieved from assignment to the 25th Infantry Division

Assigned 16 December 2006 to the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, and activated at Fort Wainwright, Alaska
