Reorganized and redesignated 1 January 1922 as Troop E, 116th Cavalry

Converted, reorganized, redesignated, and Federally recognized 18 December 1924 as Battery C, 222d Field Artillery, an element of the 40th Division (later redesignated as the 40th Infantry Division)

Reorganized and redesignated 21 March 1927 as the Service Battery, 222d Field Artillery

Reorganized and redesignated 4 February 1941 as the Service Battery, 1st Battalion, 222d Field Artillery

Inducted into Federal service 3 March 1941 at Lehi

Reorganized and redesignated 5 February 1942 as the Service Battery, 222d Field Artillery Battalion

Inactivated 7 April 1946 at Camp Stoneman, California

(222d Field Artillery Battalion relieved 22 June 1946 from assignment to the 40th Infantry Division)

Reorganized, redesignated, and Federally recognized 18 January 1950 at Lehi as Company B, 1457th Engineer Combat Battalion

Redesignated 1 March 1953 as Company B, 1457th Engineer Battalion

Reorganized and redesignated 1 December 1967 as the 117th Engineer Company

Redesignated 1 January 1993 as the 118th Engineer Company

Reorganized and redesignated in 1996 as the 115th Engineer Detachment; concurrently, location changed to Riverton

            Ordered into active Federal service 25 March 2002 at Riverton; released from active Federal service 25 March 2003 and reverted to state control
