- Reorganized and redesignated 1 September 2008 as the 149th Engineer Company
- Released from active Federal service 5 April 2009 and reverted to state control
- Ordered into active Federal service 8 February 2013 at Cynthiana; released from active Federal service 14 March 2014 and reverted to state control
