  • Reorganized and redesignated 12 April 1954 as the 284th Engineer Company

  • Inactivated 29 February 1968 at Mountain View, California
  • Activated 16 September 2008 at Seagoville, Texas
  • Ordered into active military service 20 September 2013 at Seagoville, Texas; released from active military service 24 October 2014 and reverted to reserve status
