  • Constituted 18 May 1917 in the National Army as Company E, 25th Engineers
  • Organized 13 September 1917 at Camp Devens, Massachusetts
  • Demobilized 20 May 1919 at Camp Upton, New York
  • Reconstituted 18 October 1927 in the Regular Army as Company E, 25th Engineers
  • Redesignated 8 January 1942 as Company E, 25th Armored Engineer Battalion, an element of the 6th Armored Division
  • Activated 15 February 1942 at Fort Knox, Kentucky
  • Reorganized and redesignated 16 November 1943 as the 990th Engineer Treadway Bridge Company, and relieved from assignment to the 6th Armored Division
  • Inactivated 9 December 1945 at Camp Myles Standish, Massachusetts
  • Redesignated 30 January 1947 as the 541st Engineer Treadway Bridge Company
  • Redesignated 17 December 1951 as the 541st Engineer Panel Bridge Company
  • Activated 16 January 1952 at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin
  • Inactivated 15 August 1952 at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin
  • Redesignated 23 November 1954 as the 541st Engineer Company
  • Activated 17 January 1955 in Germany
  • Inactivated 16 January 1986 in Germany
  • Activated 16 August 2007 in Germany
