Redesignated 12 March 1951 as the 521st Engineer Fire Fighting Platoon and allotted to the Regular Army

Activated 4 April 1951 at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri

Reorganized and redesignated 20 October 1953 as the 547th Engineer Detachment

Inactivated 3 December 1954 in France

Activated 4 May 1965 at Fort Belvoir, Virginia

Inactivated 30 November 1972 at Fort Sam Houston, Texas

Withdrawn 1 June 2005 from the Regular Army and allotted to the Army Reserve

Activated 16 September 2006 at Conroe, Texas
