- Reorganized and redesignated 1 September 1995 as Detachment 1, Company C, 206th Engineer Battalion
- Consolidated 1 September 2002 with Detachment 1, Company D, 206th Engineer Battalion (organized and Federally recognized 9 February 1999 at Prestonsburg), and consolidated unit designated as Company C, 206th Engineer Battalion
- Ordered into active Federal service 5 July 2004 at Prestonsburg; released from active Federal service 1 November 2005 and reverted to state control
- Ordered into active Federal service 2 March 2008 at Prestonsburg; released from active Federal service 5 April 2009 and reverted to state control
- Reorganized and redesignated 1 September 2009 as the 577th Engineer Company
