  • Activated 19 June 1948 at Salt Lake City, Utah
  • Reorganized and redesignated 9 September 1948 as the 744th Engineer Heavy Equipment Company
  • (Organized Reserve Corps redesignated 9 July 1952 as the Army Reserve)
  • Reorganized and redesignated 10 July 1953 as the 744th Engineer Company
  • Inactivated 11 April 1955 at Salt Lake City, Utah
  • Activated 5 June 1959 at Salt Lake City, Utah
  • Ordered into active military service 1 October 1961 at Salt Lake City, Utah; released from active military service 6 August 1962 and reverted to reserve status
  • Inactivated 29 February 1968 at Salt Lake City, Utah
  • Activated 16 September 2008 at Ogden, Utah
  • Ordered into active military service 7 October 2010 at Ogden, Utah; released from active military service 10 November 2011 and reverted to reserve status
