  • Redesignated 1 August 1942 as the 841st Engineer Aviation Battalion
  • Activated 1 September 1942 at Hunter Field, Georgia
  • Inactivated 21 December 1945 at Camp Stoneman, California
  • Allotted 12 August 1948 to the Organized Reserve Corps
  • Activated 14 September 1948 with Headquarters at Miami, Florida
  • Ordered into active military service 1 June 1951 at Miami, Florida
  • (Organized Reserve Corps redesignated 9 July 1952 as the Army Reserve)
  • Released from active military service 25 September 1955 and reverted to reserve status
  • Redesignated 31 January 1957 as the 841st Engineer Battalion
  • Ordered into active military service 15 March 2003 at Miami, Florida; released from active military service 13 March 2004 and reverted to reserve status
  • Elements ordered into active military service 22 May and 19 July 2007 at Miami, Florida; released from active military service 24 June and 21 August 2008 and reverted to reserve status
  • (Organic elements inactivated 16 September 2008 at home stations; Support Company concurrently constituted and activated)
  • Ordered into active military service 2 February 2012 at Miami, Florida; released from active military service 7 March 2013 and reverted to reserve status
