Reorganized and redesignated 1 September 1951 as Battery C, 265th Antiaircraft Artillery Automatic Weapons Battalion

Redesignated 1 October 1953 as Battery C, 265th Antiaircraft Artillery Battalion

Converted, reorganized, and redesignated 15 April 1959 as the 1044th Transportation Company

Converted, reorganized, and redesignated 15 February 1963 as the 266th Engineer Company

Reorganized and redesignated 1 March 1964 as part of the 153d Engineer Company, an element of the 53d Armored Brigade

Converted, reorganized,  and redesignated 20 January 1968 as part of the 1043d Transportation Company and relieved from assignment to the 53d Armored Brigade

Reorganized and redesignated 3 January 1972 as the 160th Transportation Company

Converted, reorganized, and redesignated 1 April 1991 as the 379th Signal Company

Redesignated 1 October 1995 as the 653d Signal Company

Ordered into active Federal service 15 December 2003 at Crestview; released from active Federal service 11 June 2005 and reverted to state control

Converted, reorganized, and redesignated 1 September 2007 as the 870th Engineer Company
