  • Reorganized and redesignated 9 November 1944 as the 887th Airborne Engineer Aviation Company
  • Disbanded 10 May 1945 at Geiger Field, Washington
  • Reconstituted 27 March 1986 in the Regular Army as the 887th Engineer Company
  • Activated March 1987 and at Fort Campbell, Kentucky
