            Reorganized and redesignated 1 February 1972 as the 274th Military Police Company

            Ordered into active Federal service 3 January 1991 at Washington, D.C.; released from active Federal service 5 June 1991 and reverted to District of Columbia control

            Ordered into active Federal service 7 July 2003 at Washington, D.C.; released from active Federal service 22 July 2004 and reverted to District of Columbia control

            Consolidated 1 September 2007 with the 273d Military Police Company (see ANNEX) and consolidated unit designated as the 273d Military Police Company

            Ordered into active Federal service 3 January 2012 at Washington, D. C.
