  • Parent unit organized and Federally recognized 1 December 1924 in the Ohio National Guard at Middletown as Company B, 147th Infantry, an element of the 37th Division
  • Redesignated 1 October 1930 as Company I, 147th Infantry
  • Inducted into Federal service 15 October 1940 at Middletown
  • (37th Infantry Division redesignated 1 February 1942 as the 37th Infantry Division)
  • Relieved 31 July 1943 from assignment to the 37th Infantry Division
  • Inactivated 15 December 1945 at Fort Lewis, Washington
  • Reorganized and Federally recognized 25 April 1947 in the Ohio National Guard at Middletown as Company F, 147th Infantry, an element of the 37th Infantry Division
  • Ordered into active Federal service 15 January 1952 at Middletown
  • (Company F, 147th Infantry [NGUS] organized and Federally recognized 11 March 1954)
  • Released from active Federal service 15 June 1954 and reverted to state control; Federal recognition concurrently withdrawn from Company F, 147th Infantry (NGUS)
  • Federal recognition withdrawn 15 September 1954 from Company F, 147th Infantry; Company D, 147th Infantry, concurrently organized and Federally recognized at Middletown, as an element of the 37th Infantry Division
  • Converted, reorganized, and redesignated 1 September 1959 as Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 112th Transportation Battalion, and relieved from assignment to the 37th Infantry Division
  • Consolidated 1 September 1996 with the 324th Military Police Company (organized and Federally recognized 10 December 1993 at Middletown) and consolidated unit designated as the 324th Military Police Company
  • Ordered into active Federal service 7 February 2003 at Middletown; released from active Federal service 17 November 2004 and reverted to state control
  • Expanded, reorganized, and redesignated 1 September 2005 as the 324th Military Police Company and Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 155th Chemical Battalion (Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 155th Chemical Battalion � hereafter separate lineage)
