  • Organized and Federally recognized 26 June 1955 at Marion
  • Converted and redesignated 1 October 1959 as Company D, 3d Medium Tank Battalion, 123d Armor
  • Reorganized and redesignated 15 April 1963 as Company C, 2d Medium Tank Battalion, 123d Armor
  • Reorganized and redesignated 6 April 1964 as Company C, 2d Battalion, 123d Armor
  • Reorganized and redesignated 1 March 1968 as Company A, 1st Battalion, 123d Armor
  • Reorganized and redesignated 1 May 1995 as Company B, 2d Battalion, 123d Armor
  • (123d Armor redesignated 1 October 2005 as the 123d Armored Regiment)
  • Ordered into active Federal service 21 November 2005 at Marion
  • Consolidated 1 September 2006 with Detachment 1, 438th Military Police Company (organized and Federally recognized 1 December 1987), and consolidated unit designated as Detachment 1, 438th Military Police Company
  • Released from active Federal service 29 September 2007 and reverted to state control
  • Consolidated 1 September 2009 with the 438th Military Police Company (see ANNEX), and consolidated unit designated as the 438th Military Police Company
