Inactivated 8 December 1945 at Camp Kilmer, New Jersey

Redesignated 30 June 1947 as the 417th Ordnance Ammunition Company and allotted to the Organized Reserves

Activated 17 July 1947 at Minneapolis, Minnesota

(Organized Reserves redesignated 28 March 1948 as the Organized Reserve Corps; redesignated 9 July 1952 as the Army Reserve)

Inactivated 4 December 1950 at Minneapolis, Minnesota

Redesignated 24 November 1967 as the 417th Maintenance Company

Activated 31 January 1968 at Fairbault, Minnesota
