- Reorganized and redesignated 1 March 1952 as Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 108th Division Artillery
- Location changed 1 April 1952 to Durham, North Carolina; changed 1 October 1955 to Charlotte, North Carolina
- Reorganized and redesignated 30 April 1959 as Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 108th Regiment, an element of the 108th Division (Training), and location changed to Raleigh, North Carolina (organic elements concurrently organized as new units)
- Regiment reorganized 31 January 1968 to consist of the 1st and 2d Battalions, elements of the 108th Division (Training)
- Reorganized and redesignated 1 December 1971 to consist of the 1st, 2d, and 3d Battalions, elements of the 108th Division (Training)
