350th Regiment Lineage

Constituted 5 August 1917 in the National Army as the 350th Infantry and assigned to the 88th Division

Organized 27 August 1917 at Camp Dodge, Iowa

Demobilized 5-8 June 1919 at Camp Dodge, Iowa

Reconstituted 24 June 1921 in the Organized Reserves as the 350th Infantry and assigned to the 88th Division (later redesignated as the 88th Infantry Division)

Organized in November 1921 with Headquarters at Corning, Iowa

Ordered into active military service 15 July 1942 and reorganized at Camp Gruber, Oklahoma

Inactivated 8 October 1947 in Italy

(Organized Reserves redesignated 25 March 1948 as the Organized Reserve Corps; redesignated 9 July 1952 as the Army Reserve)

Relieved 20 May 1948 from assignment to the 88th Infantry Division

Activated 15 June 1948 in Austria

Withdrawn 2 November 1951 from the Organized Reserve Corps and allotted to the Regular Army

Inactivated 15 August 1956 in Italy

Withdrawn 29 October 1998 from the Regular Army and allotted to the Army Reserve

Redesignated 17 October 1999 as the 350th Regiment and reorganized to consist of the 1st and 2d Battalions, elements of the 87th Division (Training Support)
