Reorganized and redesignated 25 May 1951 as the 440th Signal Aviation Construction Battalion

Inactivated 16 May 1956 in Korea

Redesignated 29 September 1961 as the 440th Signal Battalion and allotted to the Regular Army

Activated 1 October 1961 in Germany
