  • Constituted 9 June 1942 in the Army of the United States as Company A, Supply Battalion, 11th Armored Division
  • Activated 15 August 1942 at Camp Polk, Louisiana
  • Reorganized and redesignated 22 November 1943 as the 3599th Quartermaster Truck Company and relieved from assignment to the 11th Armored Division
  • Disbanded 20 May 1945 in Germany
  • Reconstituted 23 February 1949 in the Organized Reserve Corps and redesignated as the 146th Transportation Truck Company
  • Activated 1 April 1949 at Hutchinson, Kansas
  • Location changed 2 June 1949 to Topeka, Kansas
  • (Organized Reserve Corps redesignated 9 July 1952 as the Army Reserve)
  • Reorganized and redesignated 1 April 1952 as the 146th Transportation Heavy Truck Company
  • Reorganized and redesignated 1 May 1953 as the 146th Transportation Company
  • Location changed 1 November 1956 to Girard, Kansas
  • Inactivated 31 August 1959 at Girard, Kansas
  • Activated 16 September 1992 at Ogden, Utah
  • Ordered into active military service 23 March 2005 at Ogden, Utah; released from active military service 18 September 2006 and reverted to reserve status
