(513th Quartermaster Truck Regiment ordered into active military service 31 March 1943 at Fort Custer, Michigan)

Activated 1 April 1943 at Fort Custer, Michigan

Reorganized and redesignated 22 November 1943 as the 3885th Quartermaster Truck Company

Inactivated 25 December 1945 at Camp Kilmer, New Jersey

Converted and redesignated 1 August 1946 as the 3885th Transportation Corps Truck Company

Redesignated 15 July 1947 as the 846th Transportation Truck Company

Activated 1 August 1947 at Spartanburg, South Carolina

(Organized Reserves redesignated 25 March 1948 as the Organized Reserve Corps; redesignated 9 July 1952 as the Army Reserve)

Inactivated 1 August 1950 at Spartanburg, South Carolina

Redesignated 17 April 1959 as the 846th Transportation Company

Activated 1 June 1959 at Greenville, South Carolina

Ordered into active military service 1 October 1961 at Greenville, South Carolina; released from active military service 7 August 1962 and reverted to reserve status

Location changed 1 September 1970 to Greenwood, South Carolina; on
1 October 1977 to Salisbury, North Carolina

Ordered into active military service 17 November 1990 at Salisbury, North Carolina; released from active military service 5 May 1991 and reverted to reserve status

Ordered into active military service 11 February 2003 at Salisbury, North Carolina; released from active military service 7 October 2004 and reverted to reserve status
