U.S. Army Women's Museum

The U.S. Army Center of Military History, located at Fort Lesley J. McNair, is proud to present Army Museums: Showcasing the United States Army's Heritage an online feature meant to provide a brief, informative, and educational tour of the Army's many outstanding museums.

U.S. Army museums are part of a professional network of museums and museum activities known as th Army Museum System, administered by the Chief of Military History through the Chief of the Center's Museums Division. The Center is responsible for all the historical property belonging to the United States Army. Accountability of the property is strictly controlled by Army Regulations and federal and state laws. The Museum Division provides assistance and guidance necessary to ensure the maintenance of professional museum standards and stewardship obligations.
