This collection contains documents of interest accumulated in research as part of the Historical Resources Branch’s posts, camps and stations reference series. Items relate to the US Army’s Continental Air Defense program, including the Antiaircraft Gun program and the NIKE-AJAX and NIKE-HERCULES missile programs in the continental United States. Emphasis is on site locations. Particular emphasis is on sites located near Boston, Providence, Hartford and Washington, DC-Baltimore, although general information and articles and photos are also found in the collection.
