About the Exhibit
In the “Soldier Experience Gallery” visitors experience the United States Army through the eyes of the men
and women who lived its history, in war and peace. The gallery features hundreds of artifacts, oral history
recordings. In addition, guests may test their marksmanship at the digital shooting range, parachute into
Normandy as part of the D-Day invasion and experience a night attack during the Korean.

Recent updates to the Soldier Experience Gallery highlight the personal stories of four Soldiers across
multiple eras of Army history. Periodic replacements and updates help preserve historic artifacts while
providing opportunities to share new Soldier stories with visitors. These updates keep the gallery fresh,
engaging, and reflective of the experiences represented in the Army's history.
