Units are listed as they were designated during the campaign, with later changes and redesignations shown in parentheses following. General Order Number 12, 1 February 1946, lists the units entitled to battle credit for the Guadalcanal Campaign as they appear in parentheses. Differences between the listing below and General Order Number 12 are a result of later research.
