CP61 Program Updates/Admin/In-Out processing/AARs
(4 hours)

Many of the activities will presuppose significant knowledge of Army archives policies and procedures. The APTC is designed for Army Archivists (GS-1420) and Archives Technicians (GS-1421) in Career Program 61 (CP61). Other job series may apply as well, but they will only be seated on a space available basis.

This is a competitive training announcement and not all applicants may be selected. All eligible applicants will be reviewed by a competitive selection panel, which will review application packets and rate the applicants. Applications are evaluated based on the following areas: Statement of Interest, experience, education and prior training. There will be no more than twenty-five slots available. This class may fill up quickly, so talk to your supervisor and get the application in without delay.

  1. Civilian Career Report (CCR)--instead of the CRB

  5. Certificates of completion for the Foundation and grade-appropriate CES Courses

Applicants for CP61 funding of their travel, lodging and per diem must have a GOV CC, an ACTNOW account, and a GoArmyEd account.

Each traveler in DOD is required to take three DTS courses every two years.
