Inactivated 31 May 1946 in the Philippine Islands

Redesignated 20 April 1987 as Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 46th Adjutant General Battalion and allotted to the Regular Army; Headquarters concurrently transferred to the United States Army Training and Doctrine Command and activated at Fort Knox, Kentucky
