• Organized and Federally recognized 1 October 1994 in the Illinois Army National Guard at Springfield as the 644th Personnel Services Battalion
• Ordered into active Federal service 15 March 2003 at Springfield; released from active Federal service 21 May 2003 and reverted to state control
• Reorganized and redesignated 1 September 2009 as the 633d Personnel Detachment
• Consolidated 1 September 2010 with the 623d Personnel Detachment (see ANNEX) and consolidated unit designated as the 633d Personnel Detachment
• Ordered into active Federal service 4 June 2012 at Springfield; released from active Federal service 8 July 201 3 and reverted to state control
