Inactivated 15 March 1972 at Cumberland, Maryland

Redesignated 16 September 1998 as the 729th Adjutant General Company and activated at Long Beach, California

Location changed 7 December 1999 to San Diego, California

Ordered into active military service 15 March 2003 - 5 November 2004 at San Diego, California; released from active military service 13 March 2004 - 3 May 2006 and reverted to reserve status
