105th Cavalry Regiment

  • Constituted 1 September 2002 in the Wisconsin Army National Guard as the 105th Cavalry Regiment, a parent regiment under the United States Army Regimental System, and organized at Merrill to consist of Troop E
  • Redesignated 1 October 2005 as the 105th Cavalry Regiment
  • (Troop E ordered into active Federal service 1 June 2007 at Merrill; released from active Federal service 4 July 2008 and reverted to state control)
  • Reorganized 1 September 2007 to consist of the 1st Squadron, with Headquarters at Madison
  • (1st Squadron ordered into active Federal service 1 February 2009 at home stations; released from active Federal service 7 March 2010 and reverted to state control)
