  • Reorganized and redesignated 13 August 1956 as the 426th Civil Affairs and Military Government Company
  • Redesignated 10 December 1959 as the 426th Civil Affairs Company
  • Location changed 31 May 1972 to Upland, California
  • Reorganized and redesignated 16 September 1992 as Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 426th Civil Affairs Battalion (organic elements concurrently constituted and activated)
  • Battalion ordered into active military service 30 August 2004 at Upland, California; released from active military service 10 and 29 August 2005 and reverted to reserve status
  • Ordered into active military service 4 July-16 August 2008 at Upland, California; released from active military service 1-19 September 2009 and reverted to reserve status
  • Ordered into active military service 21 February and 21 March 2012 at Upland, California; released from active military service 20 and 26 March 2013 and reverted to reserve status
