Headquarters, 899th Field Artillery Battalion, consolidated 17 October 1999 with Headquarters, 2d Brigade, 75th Division (Exercise) (activated 1 October 1993 at Houston, Texas); consolidated unit reorganized and redesignated as Headquarters, 2d Brigade, 75th Division (Training Support) and allotted to the Regular Army at Fort Sam Houston, Texas (remainder of 899th Field Artillery Battalion concurrently disbanded)
