- Redesignated 29 April 1947 as the 19th Engineer Combat Battalion
- Activated 9 July 1952 at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland
- Redesignated 19 June 1953 as the 19th Engineer Battalion
- Inactivated 15 December 1970 at Fort Lewis, Washington
- Activated 21 December 1975 at Fort Knox, Kentucky
