Redesignated 17 April 1947 as Company A, 355th Engineer Construction Battalion, and allotted to the Organized Reserves

Activated 6 May 1947 at Dallas, Texas

(Organized Reserves redesignated 25 March 1948 as the Organized Reserve Corps; redesignated 9 July 1952 as the Army Reserve)

Reorganized and redesignated 17 December 1948 as Company A, 355th Engineer Camouflage Battalion

Reorganized and redesignated 15 May 1953 as Company A, 355th Engineer Battalion

Reorganized and redesignated 1 April 1954 as the 277th Engineer Company

Ordered into active military service 15 October 1961 at Dallas, Texas; released from active military service 5 August 1962 and reverted to reserve status

Location changed 30 January 1968 to San Antonio, Texas

Ordered into active military service 7 December 2003 at San Antonio, Texas; released from active military service 3 June 2005 and reverted to reserve status
