Redesignated 27 October 1948 as the 395th Engineer Gas Generating Detachment and allotted to the Organized Reserve Corps

(Organized Reserve Corps redesignated 9 July 1952 as the Army Reserve)

Reorganized and redesignated 20 October 1953 as the 395th Engineer Detachment
