  • Constituted 22 February 1944 in the Army of the United States as the 1480th Engineer Maintenance Company
  • Activated 27 March 1944 at Camp Van Dorn, Mississippi
  • Inactivated 31 May 1946 in the Philippines
  • Redesignated 9 December 1948 as the 485th Engineer Dump Truck Company and allotted to the Organized Reserve Corps
  • Activated 28 March 1949 at Phoenix, Arizona
  • Ordered into active military service 19 August 1950 at Phoenix, Arizona
  • (Organized Reserve Corps redesignated 9 July 1952 as the Army Reserve)
  • Reorganized and redesignated 1 April 1954 as the 485th Engineer Company
  • Released from active military service 20 January 1955 and reverted to reserve status with location at Camp Stoneman, California
  • Inactivated 1 May 1959 at Camp Stoneman, California
  • Activated 16 September 2008 at Rockford, Illinois
  • Ordered into active military service 14 January 2010 at Rockford Illinois; released from active military service 5 December 2010 and reverted to reserve status
