  • Activated 20 December 1943 at Fort DuPont, Delaware
  • Reorganized and redesignated 16 November 1945 as the 500th Engineer Panel Bridge Transport Company
  • Inactivated 2 December 1948 at Camp Campbell, Kentucky
  • Redesignated 28 October 1954 as the 500th Engineer Company; concurrently allotted to the Regular Army, and activated at Fort Bragg, North Carolina
  • Inactivated 30 April 1971 in Vietnam
  • Activated 16 July 2008 in Germany
