Redesignated 19 August 1965 as the 608th Engineer Detachment and allotted to the Regular Army

Activated 1 September 1965 at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri

Inactivated 17 February 1969 in Vietnam

Withdrawn 3 May 2004 from the Regular Army and allotted to the Army Reserve

Activated 16 October 2010 at Vicksburg, Mississippi
