  • Constituted 3 May 1954 in the Arkansas Army National Guard as Headquarters Company, 212th Signal Battalion
  • Organized and Federally recognized 3 May 1954 at North Little Rock
  • Ordered into active Federal service 24 September 1957 at Little Rock; released from active Federal service 23 October 1957 and reverted to state control
  • Ordered into active Federal service 25 January 1991 at Little Rock; released from active Federal service 26 March 1991 and reverted to state control
  • Ordered into active Federal service 5 June 2003 at North Little Rock; released from active Federal service 3 June 2004 and reverted to state control
  • Consolidated 1 September 2006 with Company D, 212th Signal Battalion (organized and Federally recognized 3 January 1955 at North Little Rock), and consolidated unit reorganized and redesignated as the 1038th Engineer Company
  • Ordered into active Federal service 5 January 2008 at North Little Rock; released from active Federal service 7 February 2009 and reverted to state control
