Redesignated 7 December 1948 as the 339th Military Police Prisoner of War Processing Company and allotted to the Organized Reserve Corps

Activated 1 February 1949 at Guttenberg, Iowa

Ordered into active military service 11 September 1950 at Guttenberg, Iowa

(Organized Reserve Corps redesignated 9 July 1952 as the Army Reserve)

Released from active military service 10 September 1952 and reverted to reserve status

Inactivated 27 December 1952 at Guttenberg, Iowa

Redesignated 15 May 1963 as the 339th Military Police Company and activated at Pocahontas, Iowa

Location changed 16 April 1983 to Rock Island, Illinois; on 15 October 1987 to Davenport, Iowa

Ordered into active military service 13 January 2002 at Davenport, Iowa; released from active military service 8 December 2002 and reverted to reserve status

Ordered into active military service 4 January 2004 at Davenport, Iowa; released from active military service 6 February 2005 and reverted to reserve status
