Inactivated 15 October 1945 at Camp Claiborne, Louisiana

Redesignated 9 December 1948 as the 430th Military Police Criminal Investigation Detachment and allotted to the Organized Reserves

Activated 14 January 1949 at Franklin, Pennsylvania

(Organized Reserves redesignated 9 July 1952 as the Army Reserve)

Reorganized and redesignated 1 December 1954 as the 430th Military Police Detachment

Location changed 1 May 1976 to Erie, Pennsylvania

Inactivated 15 September 1995 at Erie, Pennsylvania

Activated 16 September 2004 at Red Bank, New Jersey

Ordered into active military service 5 November 2004 at Red Bank, New Jersey; released from active military service 12 December 2005 and reverted to reserve status
