  • Consolidated in 1915 with Company L, 1st Regiment Infantry (organized 20 January 1910 at Yuma), and consolidated unit designated as Company L, 1st Regiment Infantry
  • Mustered into Federal service 22 May 1916 at Camp Harry J. Jones, Arizona
  • Drafted into Federal service 5 August 1917
  • Reorganized and redesignated 3 October 1917 as Company L, 158th Infantry, an element of the 40th Division
  • Demobilized 3 May 1919 at Camp Kearny, California
  • Reorganized and Federally recognized 18 February 1929 in the Arizona National Guard at Yuma as Company L, 158th Infantry, an element of the 45th Division
  • Inducted into Federal service 16 September 1940 at Yuma
  • (158th Infantry relieved 23 February 1942 from assignment to the 45th Division)
  • Inactivated 17 January 1946 in Japan
  • Reorganized and Federally recognized 12 December 1947 at Yuma
  • Consolidated 31 January 1959 with the 820th Engineer Company (organized and Federally recognized 28 March 1956 at Yuma) and consolidated unit designated as Company L, 158th Infantry
  • Reorganized and redesignated 1 March 1959 as Company E, 1st Battle Group, 158th Infantry
  • Reorganized and redesignated 1 March 1963 as Company C, 2d Battalion, 158th Infantry, an element of the 258th Separate Infantry Brigade (redesigned 1 March 1964 as the 258th Infantry Brigade)
  • Converted and redesignated 10 December 1967 as the 1154th Military Police Company; concurrently relieved from assignment to the 258th Infantry Brigade
  • Redesignated 1 September 1969 as the 854th Military Police Company
  • Reorganized and redesignated 1 March 1972 as the 852d Military Police Company
  • Consolidated 1 August 1985 with Detachment 1, 852d Military Police Company (organized and Federally recognized 1 March 1980 at Ehrenberg) and consolidated unit designated as the 852d Military Police Company
  • Reorganized and redesignated 31 October 1990 as the 855th Military Police Company
  • Reorganized and redesignated 16 January 1992 as Detachment 1, 855th Military Police Company
  • Ordered into active Federal service 6 December 1990 at Yuma; released from active Federal service 10 June 1991 and reverted to state control
  • Ordered into active Federal service 5 October 1994 at Yuma; released from active Federal service 28 December 1994 and reverted to state control
  • Reorganized and redesignated 1 August 2002 as the 855th Military Police Company
  • Ordered into active Federal service 7 February 2003 at Yuma; released from active Federal service 19 May 2004 and reverted to state control
  • Ordered into active Federal service 23 September 2009 at Yuma; released from active Federal service 27 October 2010 and reverted to state control
