- (Companies A, B, C, and D as the 425th, 479th, 480th, and 487th Quartermaster Laundry Companies, respectively—hereafter separate lineages)
- Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 61st Quartermaster Battalion, inactivated 30 November 1946 in Germany
- Activated 5 March 1947 in Japan
- Inactivated 15 June 1947 in Japan
- Redesignated 18 November 1948 as Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 14th Quartermaster Battalion
- Activated 17 January 1949 at Fort Bragg, North Carolina
- Reorganized and redesignated 25 September 1961 as the 14th Quartermaster Battalion (Companies A and B constituted 14 September 1961 and activated 25 September 1961 in Germany)
- Battalion converted and reorganized 2 August 1965 and its elements converted and redesignated as follows:
- Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment as Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 14th Supply and Service Battalion
- (Companies A as the 24th Service Company, Company B as the 18th Supply Company—hereafter separate lineages)
- Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 14th Supply and Service Battalion, inactivated 13 October 1972 in Germany
- To be activated 16 October 2015 at Fort Hood, Texas, as Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 61st Quartermaster Battalion
